WonderStep is a special formulation of chemicals, which reacts with porous stone-based surfaces to significantly increase the Coefficient of Friction (COF) in both dry and wet conditions. It can be used on most hard, porous material such as brick, cement-based terrazzo, concrete, quarry tile, ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and porcelain bathtubs and showers.
WonderStep does not require specialized cleaners or rejuvenators to maintain its integrity. There are no toxic fumes or hazardous waste considerations during or after installation, and no down time for treated floors.
WonderStep is not a coating that can wear off, but a clear treatment, which creates a crystalline structure in the microscopic pores without losing the look or feel of the flooring. You cannot see WonderStep because everything is done on microscopic level.
WonderStep creates a microscopic crystalline structure that fills the pores, which acts as an inhibitor to foreign contaminants. Since the floor is sealed, there is no place for such things as germs, bacteria, or viruses to hide and multiply. This makes the floor extremely easy to clean.
A WonderStep surface will have a significant increase in slip-resistance over an untreated surface, when wet.
WonderStep is a renewable product and may be reapplied every 4 years.
WonderStep is very useful and necessary in places such as kitchens, cafeterias, hotels, bathrooms, hospitals, doctors and dentists offices, schools, swimming pools, spas, etc.
WonderStep, if applied to shiny, high gloss surfaces or Vinyl Composition Tile (VCT), may dull the finish, however, the floor will be slip-resistant.
WonderStep will not work on metal, linoleum, plastic or fiberglass. |
